The chief aim of the ICT department is to teach the pupils the necessary knowledge and understanding of Information and Communications Technology so that they can thrive in the modern world. ICT is one of the fastest developing industries on the planet and has revolutionalised the way we live our lives.

Without the development of ICT, there would be no internet to source information, no mobile phones to communicate with and no computer chips to carry out everyday tasks like automatic washing machines, remote controls, microwaves and even traffic lights. Even thinking on such a small scale it is easy to see the importance of ICT in our lives and in world development. 

The ICT curriculum at Saint John’s is diverse, exciting and comprehensive; we use cutting edge software ranging from office applications through to professional photo manipulation/digital imaging software.
