Thank you for visiting the St. Johns International Schools website. It is important to us that you will become better acquainted with what the school can offer you and your children.
As you navigate the website, you will become aware of the range of our curriculum programme from the Early Foundation Years to Year 13. As you will see, we follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and the English National Curriculum Literacy and Numeracy Frameworks which are now combined with The International Primary Curriculum www.internationalprimarycurriculum.com in Years 1 6. This exciting dimension of the primary curriculum has been introduced from the second term of this academic year 2011/2012. The introduction of the IPC will ensure that the primary curriculum is more suitably integrated and cross referenced so the pupils achieve a better inroad into quality learning. The IPC provides a stimulating license for the teaching staff to be creative so the pupils are guaranteed to have fun while they are learning! Alongside this international dimensions are explored through reference to a wide range of international festivals with a particular focus on Thailands rich cultural heritage when we celebrate Wai Kru, Loy Kratong and Songkran.
I am equally proud of the Secondary department ( KS3 and I/GCSE ) with a dedicated team of experienced and well qualified teachers who not only provide expertise in the teaching of their subjects and achieve excellent results, but extend their passion and commitment to the broader facets of school life e.g. after school clubs, residential trips. more >>
