Scholarships

Scholarships are available to talented and gifted students. Details regarding the eligibility for these scholarships can be obtained from the School Office.

Minimum Scholarships for “A” level students

In years 12&13 scholarships are additionally based on the number of “A*/A” grades at I/GCSE (for year 12) or “A” grades achieved in AS/A2 (for year 13) or similar examinations. The scholarship is applied once proof of grades has been received. 5% scholarship for each “A*/A” grade can be obtained up to a maximum of 25%.

Application Fee – New Students Only

For existing students the application fee does not apply. One time payment of 50,000 THB per child is payable. This fee covers the registration and assessment and all administration relating to the student joining the school. (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Years 12&13 receive a 50% discount).

EAL support

English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is included in our normal tuition fees for our Nursery through to Year 2 students.

SEN support

For students recommended for SEN support, supplementary fees are payable which will be charged in addition to normal tuition fees.   Please contact us for further information about SEN support.

School Meals

With the large increase in food price inflation in Thailand, we are pleased to be able to continue provision of first class nutrition to our students through Epicure with only a modest increase in cost of meals throughout the term. The fee for school meals is 8,500 THB per term.  This fee includes mid-morning snacks and a comprehensive international buffet lunch.

Examination fees

Year 11, 12 and 13 students will have an additional examination fee to cover the cost of entry for I/GCSE, A/S and A level examinations.

Parent Information Network

St John’s International School provides a number of services, providing information to our parents and guardians about their children while within the care of the school.  These services ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of the students while on campus. The Parent Teacher Association is a part of this network.  These services require payment of 1000 THB per term.

Textbooks

There is no charge for textbooks for the Primary school students. Secondary school students will need to purchase textbooks for most subjects.  These can be obtained from the school shop.

Uniform

The price of the uniform depends on the size of your child.  The uniform is available from the school shop.
