The Fun Side of Learning!
Common Room
We are proud to announce the creation of our new common room. This is an area where our students can come to relax. We have a TV with a home cinema system, computers connected to the internet and a workspace for students to do their homework if they wish!
You can see we also have some very comfortable seating for students to relax and rest their minds after a busy day studying hard.
Extra-curricular Activities
During the school year, students participate in educational
field trips and activities related to their studies. These may include
historical sites, the United Nations, the Stock Exchange of Thailand,
various businesses, national parks and others.
Clubs
Each semester, students choose clubs that they
would like to take part in. Current clubs include Internet, Ping Pong,
Karaoke, Digital Photography and Music. We try to offer whatever is of
interest to the students as long as it is feasible. Each club has an
advising teacher.
Physical Education
The International Diploma Program has full use of the facilities at the St. John's International School Campus. There is a football pitch, three covered basketball courts, outside basketball and football provision and an 8 lane, 25 meter swimming pool.
Students enjoy learning about health and fitness whilst undertaking activities such as badminton, football, basketball, track and field, gymnastics, rounders, and swimming.
We offer other sporting activities if there is sufficient demand and it is practical to do so.
Saint John’s Inter-School Activities
Our students have a number of opportunites throughout the
academic year to participate in local cultural and fun events together
with other Saint John’s schools.
Life Skills
Saint John’s teaches not only academic subjects. We
also teach life skills: sportsmanship, teamwork, social responsibility,
respect for others and others’ opinions, honesty and integrity.
We convey these important human relationship traits within each of our
classes and during all school activities. |
