Saint Johns University

St Johns University was initially granted a college status by the Ministry of University Affairs on January 5,1989. On March 19, 1996, it was granted a university status to provide bachelor degree programs under the supervision of the Ministry of University Affairs.

The University resolves to create individuals with virtues and knowledge as clearly illustrated in the universitys motto: Virtus Sola Nobilitat, which means Only virtues can make human beings honorable.

Presently, there are five Faculties in St. Johns University: Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Communication Arts, Faculty of Liberal Arts Faculty of Law and Faculty of Engineering.

The University has impressive facilities. Theres a library, which has more than 45,000 textbooks, catalogues, references, periodicals, and CD-ROMs There are three computer labs and a students Self-Access Center equipped with more than 200 computers. Theres a clinic for students health care for fitness and recreation, there are basketball, volleyball, badminton courts and facilities for table tennis Theres a bookstore where reading materials and stationary are available.

St. Johns University has a very convenient location-right in the heart of the city. It is accessible by all kinds of public transports bus, taxi, motor vehicle, etc, a subway station (MRT) which is just a walking distance away and a sky train station (BTS) which is only 5 minute taxi ride from Phahonyothin, and Ladprao there are countless condominiums and apartment buildings, shopping malls, wet markets, convenient stores, etc. in the immediate surrounds.

English Program
The English program is designed for students who want to prepare themselves for the field of marketing in private and public organizations.  The program provide the ability to generate creative ideas, manage information system, and analyze problem and situations as well as improving their competency in the use of foreign language successfully in the changing environment of globalization.  English is the medium of instruction of this program.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess ;
11.     M. 6 Certificate (Grade 12) or its equivalent as issued by the Ministry of Education or equivalent O level
12.     Clear record of good behavior
13.     Good physical and mental health
14.     English entrance examination applicants with TOEFL score of at least 350 or satisfactory performance in other recognized international language test.

Academic Information
An academic year is divided into 2 semesters. A semester has a duration of not less than 15 weeks.     

   First Semester           -   start in June and ends in October.
   Second Semester  -    start in November and ends in February

Interested candidates may apply during the following periods :

     For the first semester       ;    January May
     For the second semester  ;   August October

Applicants must submit the following documents:
1.      Completed application form with 300 baht application fee
2.      3 photo (2.54 cm x 2.54 cm.)
3.      Certificate of M.6 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
4.      A photocopy of house registration
