What is it like to be a volunteer?

Saint John’s Thabom School nor the Assumption Sisters, expect our volunteers to be religious. We welcome volunteers from many walks of life.  Past volunteers range from students who have just finished school or university, individuals taking a career break, trainee nuns and a number of people who are considering a career change, into teaching.

We only ask that the school’s guiding principles of respect and understanding are followed during your time with us.  If this is your first time volunteering in Thailand or in a Thai school, things may, perhaps, happen a little differently from what your used to.  Therefore please try to understand and respect the way the school does things.
